Dr. Cassandra Allen, DVM

Dr. Allen grew up in Reno, Nevada, attending a local university for undergrad then she decided to go to the Royal Veterinary College in England after much deliberation.

Dr. Allen started working as a veterinarian at a local shelter then transitioned to private practice, but she was still dedicated to giving back by caring for local wildlife. She recently moved to Ohio, starting work as a relief veterinarian by helping out at multiple hospitals in the area, which is when she fell in love with everyone at Valley Animal Hospital.

Dr. Allen loves working with a variety of animals, having grown up with guinea pigs, hedgehogs, and ferrets. She is also passionate about end-of-life care and fear free medicine, desiring to make every animal comfortable.

In her spare time, Dr. Allen likes exploring Ohio by going on different hikes with her family. She also loves to travel so she takes every opportunity to explore new places.
